Gusmao, again, has the winning percentage advantage with an impressive 83% vs. Soszynski’s 68%. However, Soszynski has almost four times as many fights, so the experience leans in his direction. Both men are facing  tougher tests than their last fights respectively. Soszynski made light of Brian Stann’s ground game at UFC 97, but, Gusmao is not as one dimensional. Soszynski also has the disadvantage of fighting so soon after his last match. Jon Jones is no slouch, however when he fought Gusmao, his game was unrefined. I have my doubts about Gusmao fighting someone as powerfull and experienced as Soszynski.

I’m going to bet against the stats again, it seems like I have something against Gusmao – maybe I do. Here they are so you can make up your own mind.
